4 is pretty good because you can play as Zero, but 5 and 6 are just 4 all over again, really. They didn't even improve the graphics when they moved to the PS2.

The GC version better not have the swaped jump and fire buttons.

5 and 6 were MUCH harder than 4. In fact, 6 was kinda unpleasant in some of the bullshit you had to do.

But I'm sure this version will have customizable jump and fire buttons, just like 4-6 did.

Actually 1, 2, and 3 had that too.

I understood Capcom's reason to switch buttons but as far as it goes for the X series, they need it to be (the neutral) B for shoot, A for jump, and X for dash.

5 was sad because zeros DIED! then he rebuilds himself in the WORST plot twist ever. Serously in between level selection hes all HOLY SHIT I'M ALIVE AGAIN! then later you fight the Hobo version of sigma.

That's pretty lame considering Zero had died in the original X game, and could only be used limitedly in X3, during the early games.

Megaman sucks worse than I thought if you have to use the story as a factor in whether you like the game or not.

megaman x is like an anime game. very limited story, but there is some sense of continuity.

I hope they include the animated cutscenes that were in the PS1 version of X3. The Vile fight was awesome.

That was X4. The scenes weren't bad.

I'm probobly not gonna get this, I've got all the originals. Though I must say, when I was young all I could stand to play was X1, and sometimes MM3 (with cheats.) I sucked at all MM games back then.

X4 is the only good PS1 one. I didn't beat 5 and 6 because they were both fucking impossible at one point near the end, so I didn't bother. They were just revamped versions of 4 anyway, as someone else stated.

I haven't played the PS1 version, so i'm excited to finally see the cutscenes.

They're planning to redub X, Zero, and Sigmas voice in X4, so no more girly-sounding X. They might add voices to all the others in the collection as well, albiet probably just for those characters. They're also going to fix the grammatical errors in X6, as well as finally getting an English dub (X6 only had Japanese VO's).

They're also going to have remixed tracks for the first two games, with X3 getting the PS1 music.

All in all, it's going to be great.
