Old Dec 29th, 2005, 03:44 PM        9/11 victims died so we can have more candy and play golf
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A Texas golf course, a Nevada tanning salon and an Illinois candy shop were among small businesses that may have improperly received U.S. subsidized loans intended for firms hurt by the September 11 attacks, an internal government watchdog has found.

Yes, this is clearly why people died on 9/11.

Wherever government is doling out cash you're going to have problems like this.

"an internal government watchdog has found"

It was internally caught. Is it bad? Yes. Is it worth a story? Sure. Does this mean that 9/11 was orchestrated by the illuminati and Israel? Uhhh......

I didn't mean to ignore you but I think your sarcasm dectector is turned off.

I think it's insane these small businesses are receiving loans because their businesses were slow on that day. Why these specific businesses and not small businesses in new york? And I wonder who is responsible for approving and supplying the loan money to these businesses. There are a lot of gaps in the article. But then it's the mainstream media press

And what the hell are the watchdogs doing spying golf courses and candy shops?

It's federal money. The problem probably wasn't that one specific person did anything. The problem is that wherever there's government giving out money you have lots of paperwork and layers of review. These may have been honest mistakes.

That's one way to look at it. But supposedly the administration sent the money to these small businesses as gratitude...it wouldn't surprise me since we have a goverment that's so corrupted...

Anyway on the point of 9/11, if anyone wants to sign a petition to reopen the investigation of 9/11, you can do so. You don't have to include your name but you can sign up as anonymous. Since no one had been held accountable surrounding the attacks, maybe the reopening of more honest and serious investigation will help lead us to those who were accountable...10,000 signature are needed before it's sent to the congress...

If you're still unsure of the possibility that 9/11 was an inside job, check out these sites....

They died because this happened:

A plane, driven by an angry terrorist, hit the twin towers.
However..
After a close look..

It was shamu!
