It's hard to describe the level of violence that existed in this game. Now, I needn't worry about not being able to explain it because someone has taken the liberty of making animated gifs out of all the horrendous fatalities in the game. Absolutely marvelous! Anyway, enjoy:

By the way, I agree with the site's author that Dawson's Sudden Death "Tree Spike" may very well be the most gruesome video game death ever.

Boogie and I were looking over these last night, it's a damn shame this version was only on the Sega CD. I think if it got better exposure it'd be more famous than Mortal Kombat as far as "fatalities" go.
