What's really shocking is the article is calls it a "hidden hate" message....as if anything about it is hidden at all.

CC was supposed to be the initials of some guy who works at the graphic design company they're blaming for releasing it to the printer. Apparently nobody checked it, and nobody at the printer in another state thought it was a little strange.

I think something like this would be pretty easy to miss, actually. I took a fair bit of graphic design in high school, and it's easy to hide stuff in plain sight because your eye is drawn towards other elements of the layout.

The printer wouldn't necessarily catch it either, since all they do is run off a few thousand copies, of potentially hundreds of different things in a day. Everything is done electronically now, so they probably just got an e-mail or something. Computerized printing presses have pretty much eliminated the need to have a guy standing there checking every copy for flaws, and since it looks like this was an inside page, the guys who box and ship the flyers wouldn't have looked either. :/

Spads - Yeah well it takes a certain soul to be Mel Brooks, and very few people have it....and while we're at it, I do blame Mel Brooks for making it okay for idiots to be unfunny about this shit. Cause you can say anything if it's got soul, love and um HUMOR to it. Some people think hitler jokes and fart jokes are the same thing... the mention of the name and the visions of his moustache is enough for some people.
