I always thought Black Dots had a better sound. For some reason the recording quality is shitty on the self-titled. Plus Black Dots is raw shitbomb motherfucking in your face kickassness. How low can a Punk Get?

I picked up their album Rise a couple of years ago and it was so different from the music I had at the time that all of the "cool, unique" songs I wrote for weeks afterward sounded just like them.

Yeah, but Black Dots was recorded in a garage, and sounded less murky.
