The Gun as a God.
Would the world have been better
with or without guns?
Lets see..
Would the world have been overpopulated by now
if it weren't for the gun?
Would violence be less, or more? With a readily available weapon such as the gun,
and its constant media coverage, is death more likley to occure?
Are all men truley equal now? Gun is the great equalizer. Because of it, a child can kill a man.
In the sector of violence, there are no classes.
Defense was based on bodily weapons, (fists, etc.) in the early origins of man.
Now, we are reduced to an unhonerable practice.
For example,

Mariens have the most honor. They must come face to face with the enemy, and have the bravery
to slaughter one of his own. Every marine I've talked to
aggrees that it is unhonerable
to shoot you advasery from far away.
Yet it equalizes all.
While this weapon is classifiable as a god, because of the lamb-like, cowardly, and violent heard nature of humans,
is it doing more harm,
or good.?

that i despise all that is gothic, full-of-woe, bullshit.

Im the kid who once paint-balled a goth kids' house,
simply because his absurd and generic behavior displeased me.

My point in this thread,

That there is, or is not, cruelty involved.
which is crueler,
the act of using a gun,
or the motivations that drive that act?

When a hunter kills a deer,
one might say "thats not right"
well, why?

"because its wrong to kill animals for anything other then food"
so,
Does that mean the magnitude of the cruelty of an act
is defined by its motives,
or the act itself?

I'm all for guns.
they protect us.
Im not some kind of smelly hippy that hates mechanical things.

Let me phrase it this way, to appeal to small intellects.
say you lived in a shit neighborhood.
and you had a kid. a curious one.
would you keep a gun in the house, and why?

Yes, the kid did own the house.
He was a neighbor in college. In a true gothic act,
he threw a dead rat in my window.
When I asked him why,
he replied that "it was an artistic statement aimed at those who's lives were perfect."

I seem to remember a marilyn manson quote.

that he probably pissed out pure black.
Dead rat in my room = paintball.
Might I add,
that rat landed in my bed, while I was asleep.
