this show is my favorite non-comedy show on tv right now. the commish is fucking awesome as the angry bastard cop. i mean he sticks a gun in a prostitute's mouth! then later in the police station:

"You put a gun in my mouth!"
"No I didnt."

fucking awesome!
i highly recommend it!

I don't really follow the Shield but Michael Chiklis (short baldy) is awesome in this.

Been watching since the pilot episode and I'm now halfway through the middle of the third season. When it comes to gritty police dramas, The Shield is one of the very best.
