I went out onto my enclosed porch Sunday to get the newspaper and what do I see? An innordinate number of flies resting on my chamber door and windows ... I mean a bunch ... nevermore ... I say to myself. Strangely, I don't really knew what drew them in because there is no garbage, food, ect within the area. The only thing I could think of was the slight advantage of warmth on the porch versus the outside. Anyway, I grabbed a couple of day-old copies of the Free Press and commenced the annihilation. They didn't seem so sneaky, quick and spry as the usual summertime version. In fact, they seemed downright lethargic. They must go to the B model for the fall. The enemy was falling in staggering numbers as my grease-stained windows served as corpse-encrusted memorial of their perilous fight against the paper-fisted tyrant ... that's me, btw. Oh the carnage! Oh the humanity! Oh the window cleaing time that ensues. This can't be good for my karma. Oh well, at least I could use that day's newpapers to clean the windows.

It wasn't just a cartoon, it was one of Grimm's Fairy Tales, for the record.

Now go pester Lenor instead of me.

Haha. Seven in one blow! My grandfather always used to tell me that story. Be careful because they might make you fight a giant if you talk about that story.
