I think the film looks pretty damn good so far. It seems that they're showing more and more footage of the monsters with each passing day, and they have that nasty plastic look that the monsters have had since SH2. I could really do without the "I am the reaper" part, and I still have to imagine what it would be like if David Lynch had directed it.....Probably random rabbits, real dwarfs, and maybe even some sudden HLA between Rose and Cybil, but that's just for the dreamers of dreams.

Yeah, that "I am the reaper" part just made me shake my head, but everthing else looks really good. I still say SH2 would translate the best to film out of all the games, but meh.

I heard the plot is a mix of 2 and 3, but not 1 or 4.

Which is good, because I've never played 1 and I really didn't like 4. I loved 2 and 3 though.

I wanted to see it this weekend, but my girlfriend's got her first leading role, SOOOOOO I gotta go see that. Next weekend though :O

I think the plot is mostly from SH 1 and 2 with some original stuff thrown in. I mean, if you look at the trailer, there are a couple of scenes taken straight from SH1.

I've beaten all of them, got all the endings, and I have to say that Silent Hill 4 was the only one of the bunch that felt like a chore the whole time. Probably because it was originally a different game entirely, but when they needed another sequel, they stamped the Silent Hill name on it.

Considering on Hard Mode he can take numerous rifle and shotgun blasts. I do think that Eddie was probably one of the most disturbing characters in the series.

Fuck man, my local newspaper tore this movie apart. Then again they also said that Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was a piece of shit so I am ovbiously not going to listen to what they have to say!
