Hey glowbelly ,
Look in the book they call a dictionary ... look for the word sarcasm. When I said huh that is what I was going for. I am sorry you couldn't understand the concept. 2 + 2= chair (more sarcasm)

did books dump legwarmers for toe socks?

or did the legwarmers get sick of books' tendency to be held by mittens in the winter?

Quote:
ironic

adj 1: humorously sarcastic or mocking; "dry humor"; "an ironic remark often conveys an intended meaning obliquely"; "an ironic novel"; "an ironical smile"; "with a wry Scottish wit" [syn: dry, ironical, wry] 2: characterized by often poignant difference or incongruity between what is expected and what actually is; "madness, an ironic fate for such a clear thinker"; "it was ironical that the well-planned scheme failed so completely" [syn: ironical]

So far, I don't see the irony. And on to:

Quote:
sar·casm ( P ) Pronunciation Key (särkzm)
n.
A cutting, often ironic remark intended to wound.
A form of wit that is marked by the use of sarcastic language and is intended to make its victim the butt of contempt or ridicule.
The use of sarcasm. See Synonyms at wit1.
I don't see the victim of ridicule/scorn nor any wit involved. Are you sure that you're using your terminology correctly?

Perhaps I-Mockery is not the forum for you. There is always time to reconsider. We will understand and appreciate the time and effort that you've spent in the endeavor. :kthx
