Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot that you italians have never heard of freedom of speech. Yeah, I know it might shock you, but it actually does exist.

To put it simply, it gives a person the right of expressing his/her opinion.

For example, I have the right to say "Halo fuckin' sucks" eventhough some people like you won't tolerate it, I still have the right to say it. Even though I might get bashed by some sad emo nerds like you, I still have the right to say it.

I thought the trailer was really cool, but just for the messages. Before Halo 1, the Cortana e-mails Bungie sent out to the marathon newsgroups included the line "Oh, and your poet Eliot had it wrong - THIS is the way the world ends." Near the end of the new trailer, it says something similar, and Bungie ended Marathon in a trilogy (though Halo being the prequels to Marathon and the last Spartan (Master Chief) becoming a god at the end of Marathon: Infinity, it's assured that it isn't Earth or the Master Chief that will be blown to payces by the end of Halo 3), so they'll likely end Halo in the same way; Which is not to say that they won't create more trilogies based in the same universe. Given that there's no mention of the Covenant or Flood in Marathon, it'll most likely be those guys that get ended.

Being a total Bungie mythology fag since Marathon 2, I'm eating this shit up :< I hope it turns out that Cortana has become a rampant AI and does something just awful ;>

I need to know of the books are considered cannon.

Like it explains how Sarge didn't die from the flood in Halo 1, and how they made it back to earth. So, I just want to know if Bungie offically acknowlegdes the books as true dat.

I do know that the Halo 3 release will also be backed up by a movie which has Peter Jackson on as a producer.

The Location of the Halo3 trailer IS Earth, it has been stated by several sources (if the signpost in the back ground wasn't enough)

And I don't see what all the yammering is about for Halo3 Halo one was an awesome game, It had the best graphics, and gameplay for any FPS on a console, it had a half decent story, a pretty epic scale of combat (i.e. Having to combat both on foot an mounted soldiers in real time, it had a very solid multiplayer. Halo2 was an OK game, they seemed to have though that making a story driven game as linear as possibel was the way to go and sacrificed many good Ideas for uleless ones. The only good addition to Halo2 is the Dual Wield Ability, and Online play. I'm excited for halo3 just not as excited as I am for Dead Rising and Gears of War.

BungieD: What indeed? All of our games have thematic parallels between the storylines. Mostly, some direct parallels. There are certain recurring themes; but it remains to be seen how many direct parallels there might be in the stories.

I don't have the specific line where they say it, but I'll put it out tonight. Marathon's story dates back to Pathways Into Darkness, and the Marathon logo appears on the Pillar of Autumn itself.
