I command you in your next little "movie session" to review what I tell you to review. I'll give you a little room to breath but not that god damn much, the terms are that you can choose from one of the two following movies that I have picked. For my first choice, I have chosen "Basketcase". For the second choice, "Ax'em". DON'T BE SLICK AND DO SOME BULLSHIT SPIDERMAN SANTO SHIT! CHOOSE WISELY!

Lucky for you, you no longer have to wait to find out about just how great it is. The episode is now archived online for all to enjoy!

That's the concept of the show, yes.
Well, it's the concept and the only LEGAL way of broadcasting movies on the net as most of these obscure movies have either no copyright or are in a state of lapse.

Why's that depressing? I really don't want to show people too many movies they've likely seen before... I wanna show the batshit insane stuff that most people can't even believe exists. Stuff so hilariously bad that the only way to really experience it is in the company of others so you can all laugh together at it.

That's almost Roadhouse, except that first bit.

Right.... and public domain is far from boring. Hell, there is sooooo much wierd/funny/horrible stuff from the 40's, 50's and 60's to pick from. I have a ton of public domain movies and most of the old B ones are hilarious.

I was surprised to see Eliminators on the show, but stuff doesn't have to be old to be public. Bad Taste is public domain...I believe.

I love the movies he shows on Doc Mocks. So far its all been pure gold that you otherwise never would have known existed. I would HATE to see some Hollywood trash played on there. His 2nd flick was a bit close but still so unheard of that it was great. Still 3 Dev Adam takes the cake! As he said before it aired, It will change your life.

You know, I'd love to see some Ed Wood movies on the show. Or how about something different, namely two hours of old Fleischer Studios cartoons, back when they were really weird and before the Hayes Code forced them to censor it all up. How weird are those cartoons? Well, one example I can think up off the top of my head was that one with a talking ghost walrus voiced by Cab Calloway (Whom they also rotoscoped to provide the animation for) singing a song about a girl falling in with the wrong crowd and dying miserable and alone. And yes that cartoon actually exists. It's called Minnie The Moocher. And if you want even more evidence of Flescher's early work being supremely fucked up, check out this little bit of insanity.

Or maybe you could do some Roger Corman movies, which are a goldmine for absolute cinematic crap as far as I'm concerned. I'd love to see you do King Kong, Phantom of the Opera(The Lon Cheney version), Nosferatu or Night of The Living Dead; seeing as they're public domain, but I don't think you'd actually do them because they're waaaaay too damn good to do the MST3K treatment to.

Or maybe, and this is highly implausible but worth a try, you could contact Troma and ask for their permission to let you put one of their films on your show. I mean, they're all for helping out independent filmakers, so why not help a guy trying to put on a little show that combines the dual charms of MST3K and Vampira's old show. I'm sure that Lloyd Kauffman would be happy to give you his blessing. I saw the guy once at this little indie theatre in my town called The Loft where he was premering his latest film Poultrygeist (Which was awesome), and he seemed like a really likable guy.
