I'd envy that collection but I'd probably have a panic attack about finding time to play through everything and feeling like I wasted a ton of money because I'd never get around to playing 90% of those games.

Wow, that is one hell of a collection.

You have so many great Saturn games. Dragonforce, PD Saga, AND Albert Odyssey? Dear god.

Yeah, close this thread because he won the contest and his collection is the only one that matters, right?

DuFresne wins.

CodieKitty, how much of that collection, if any, did you purchase off ebay, pawn shops, etc?

: (

It's hard to say how much stuff I got from where. I got all my TurboGrafx/PC Engine stuff off eBay because nobody here carries that stuff, and most of the Saturn stuff for the same reason. After that, maybe 2/3 local used and new, then 1/3 eBay, Amazon, and through message boards. I used to buy from Gamestop a lot up until they stopped carrying N64 and PSX stuff.

Oh, and I just picked up a Genesis 1+Sega CD combo from a local store. It came with Jurassic Park.

I just got Turtles in Time and Kirby Super Star from the flea market for 10 bucks each. I also got a perfect copy of Golden Axe with all the little posters and advertisements. D:

Right now I'm bidding on a Saturn on ebay with about a dozen games. A few weeks ago I went into the local used game store and was disapointed to find that the day before someone had traded in a Saturn with about a dozen games only to have someone come in and buy it later that day.

Once again, your collection is staggeringly amazing.

I like these ones:

Last one's my fave.

There were GC and Xbox dev kits on ebay and I was pissed at myself for not buying them. I think I'm going to get a Panasonic Q Cube. I don't have a Gamecube yet.

It's understandable. Even I assume somebody online's a male unless something says otherwise.

The guy who ran a local used game shop (until he sold it to some friends of his) once told me he had that same thing happen, except it was with a TurboGrafx-CD and some games, and it was all gone in an hour.

I'm sure you know this, but the best Saturn games don't come cheap. It'll pay off nicely if you're willing to invest the money, though.

Why, thank you. I have a list of the games here, but it's a bit out of date (I last updated it back at the beginning of the year), but the only time it ever is up to date is the day I update it.

NO, actually.

Escape from Monkey Island for the PS2 and Shadow of Destiny for the PC.
