I'm playing System Shock 2 right now and I <3 it

I'm in love with Bioshock! I was expecting it to have a much slower pace than it actually does, but its much better than I expected. I can't stress enough at just how beautiful Rapture itself is.

Can't wait to play/try/watch it. Hopefully one of my friends will get it, because no way in hell has my PC enough power to run the game.

It's not a real successor to System Shock 2 but if you enjoyed SS2, you'll love Bioshock.

Right when I started the game suprised me. Once they set you in the water after the crash, I thought it was still a cutscene... heh til I moved the stick.

oh wait..

The game is a technical masterpiece and I'm so glad it's a focused single player FPS still.

The Unreal engine rules.

I haven't played 1 and I'm getting 2 so far, although I'm not terribly far in it yet :/

You managed to fix the game so it doesn't crash anymore? 'cos I've gained interest for the system shock games and I'd like to try 'em.

It's still kind of iffy, but I got it to work, mostly. If you have dual processors you just have to turn one off. However sometimes the game will fuck up and all of the wall textures will turn purple, and if you try to load a saved game like that it crashes.

System Shock 2 can be enjoyed without playing the first, the only thing your missing is some the back story concerning SHODAN and Citadel. But its 2 different plot lines if I remember correctly so anyone can have fun on System shock 2

Theres a group of guys on ModDB who made an upgrade mod to SystemShock 2 thats worth checking out.

This is kinda how I want Fallout 3 to be. Not exactly, but you get my point, yeah? And plasmids are freaking awesome.

I just snagged the limited edition! The big daddy figure is awesome and easily constitutes the extra ten dollars. Besides that, you get a CD with some crappy Bioshock-inspired techno songs by Moby and some other guy, and a behind the scenes DVD, which is nothing but interviews.

This game is awesome. I can't say I am in love with the wierd looking character models, but the environments are pretty, and I like shooting people with exploding shotgun shells!

Holy crap, I remember seeing a huge 6 page feature on this in some game magazine a year ago, and I never bought the magazine, and I never could remember the name of it, and I've been wanting to know what that game was ever since. And I am excited to know that it is the biggest game of the moment.

I'm kinda far in right now and after all that's happened, it kinda seems like I've been doing the right thing....but these things have a way of coming back to bite ya in the ass later on.
