This movie kinda tripped me out. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it, kinda like Trainspotting.

Drew, to answer a couple of your questions:

He actually was his attorney, hence the title of "attorney".

They got the tape recorder while still in L.A., but I'm not sure that they did much clarifying of it in the movie.

I'm pretty sure that Lucy wasn't raped.

"Back Door Beauty" was his way of asking her if she liked getting, you know, in the ass.


But by no means am I an expert on the movie or anything...

I didn't watch the whole movie. It started off funny enough, but eventually all the hallucinations and drugs weren't very funny anymore, so I stopped watching it. I rented it btw, so I didn't have the dramatic walking out of the theater, I've never done that before.
