I bet everyone gets free new comfy socks everyday in the White House. Now we know why there is a deficit.

I just don't wear socks. Waste of money, just like ties
Of course, this results in terrible blisters

I want a pair of socks with the presidential seal on them.

I heard that Bill Clinton wore socks on his peepee. That is a rumor ... an unsubstantiated lie!

What good would that do me? Ties have no purpose, they look ugly, and are a bitch to put on

I don't buy toilet paper either, I just get one of those free newspapers from the boxes on street corners

EDIT: and shoes DO have a purpose, unless you happen to be a Hobbit. And since you are most likely not, I reccomend wearing them to avoid injury to your feet

If I had a girl with really cute feet, I would tell her not to wear shoes ... only socks ... and I would carry her around to where ever she wished to go so she wouldn't damage her feet ... but she would have to be small.

Putting a sock over your alarm clock mutes the alarm and makes it seem like your mother gently nudging you awake on a lazy Sunday morning ... and makes the alarm clock comfy too.
