I desire this DVD. It is currently out of print, but bound to get reissued eventually. Does anybody know where I could find it for a decent price? It tends to go for about $25-30 on ebay, and for a DVD with NO extras whatsoever I am reluctant to pay that much.

In all honesty, you're better off waiting until they release a "collector's edition" or what have you... cuz a movie like that is bound to get re-released with all sorts of goodies.

Wow, that's weird that it is out of print. I can't seem to find it online very well, but I could walk into any DVD store and find 10 copies at least.

How much could you get it for? I might want to ask you to pick it up for me if I can't find it anywhere around here.

And Rog, normally I would wait around for a collector's edition, but the Coen brothers have NEVER really had any extras to speak of in their DVD releases. I'm not sure they're ever going to.

Yeah, "The Man Who Wasn't There" (out-fucking-standing movie btw) was the first DVD that the Coen brothers even speak on from what I've heard.

Is is absolutely an out-fucking-standing movie. Billy Bob Thornton was fantastic in that one.

Proto> It's not worth it. A new version is definitely coming out and it will have special features. Thats why it's OOP.

Here's the region 2 extras, we can expect the same for our new release.

"'Minnesota Nice' documentary (an insight into the peculiarities of the region which inspired the characters and the locations, plus cast and crew recollections). Interview with the Coen Brothers. Audio commentary with producers Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner (Working Title films). Audio commentary with cinematographer Roger Deakins. The Coen Brothers Repertory Company - interactive guide focusing on regular collaborators John Turturro, John Goodman, Frances McDormand. Photo galleries. Trivia tracks. 'American Cinematographer' article. Trailers and TV spots"

I used to have it, but I sold it. Try looking around for a store called Pre-Played. I'm not sure if it is only up here, but go there if there is one near you. They buy at fair prices, and sell some stuff for fair prices too.

actually they had a behind the scenes interview with the Super Coen Bros. on the Big Lebowski dvd, but nothing like commentary over the movie. I thoroughly enjoy both movies.
