Same here. I probably never would have even bothered if it wasn't for this article. RoG, your enthusiasm for crazy Halloween crap is infectious.

This year I'll make a point of finding candy corn somewhere in this Halloween-deprived Country and try it. At least then I'll know what the hell everybody else is talking about.

That last photo is my favorite on the site. The Cryptkeeper candelabra eating candy corn Oreo cookies, with the Halloween pixel poster in the background, and the whole picture ever so slightly flickering. Awesome.

Glad you guys are inspired to try them out, for this is the season to put all your fears aside and indulge in all things Halloweeny.

Dextire - Thanks man, I'm glad you like that photo. I'm really happy with how all the photos turned out actually, but I wanted that last one to be a special memento, so good to know it's appreciated by others.

Great review, Rog! Thanks for taking the effort to track those cookies down. I just wish they came with one of those awesome lighted fall leaf setups you have set up there.

I can top it, I work at a local food store and we just got a shipment in of two rather interesting candy's, dunno if you've tried them yet. A candy apple flavored milky way Minni and a candy corn flavored white chocolate m&m. The milky way struck me as something of a cross between a nutri-grain bar and a mouth full of Carmel- where as the m&m candy corn I'm a bit torn on starts out good; sort of a cotton candy flavor more than any thing but leaves quite the aftertaste bla. Still if you happen across the two give em a shot, in the name of science naturally.

A-bomb - Hehe, I do love those lights. I'm sure I'll use them a bunch more this season for other articles.

Zounds - I have the M&M's already and plan on reviewing them in my annual guide to the Halloween Candies of 2012 sometime in October. Haven't seen the caramel apple Milky Way bars though, and now I definitely need to find them! Thanks for the heads up!

These look incredible!! On my way to 2 get some, since I love candy corn anyway. Next year, maybe they will create a "Franken-Stuffed Oreo" Green colored, chocolate cookie outside, purple and white vanilla creme inside...any takers? (Yeah i know it's all food dye..but that'z the point!)

justintyler - Hey, at least you tried them despite not being a candy corn fan, so what more could I ask for? Plus, you have Doink for an avatar, so that gets you extra points in my book.

In related news, I just found out that CNN featured this Candy Corn Oreo cookies article in a televised news segment! Check it out:

About halfway through you'll see the flashing jack-o-lantern I-Mockery logo along with some of the photos I took of the Oreos. Keen!

So I know I'm late to the party and all, but I just thought I would let anyone who reads this know that the new S'mores milkshake from Steak N Shake is awesome. I was expecting a glorified chocolate shake and got something way, way better. I was practically drinking a S'more through the straw; everyone should go buy one now!

In a slightly more related note, I do plan on checking out these new cookies because I love Oreos and I LOOOOVE candy corn.
