Hmm well technically speaking we have four:

Female - being the greatest sex of course!

Male - no comment

Eunech - above castrated (there should be more of these!)

Hemaphrodites - A mixture of male and female

Then add to the fact that there are also:

HeShe's - half male, half female or "chicks with dicks"

Transvestites - men that dress up as women

Gays and Lesbians

So that makes at least 8 varieties I think. Then add the people that like sex with animals and sex with furniture and feck knows what else. But they are just really weird.

Chicks with dicks are males or in very rare cases hermaphrodites.

Transvestites are males.

Gay men are males and lesbians are females.

You can't call a hermaphrodite a separate gender because 1) they are abnormal, 2) they are almost ALWAYS assigned one gender or the other at a young age, and 3) they don't have any unique characteristics, just mixed male and female aspects.

Actually hermaphrodite's could be classed as a seperate gender because they contain extra chromosomes or something similar which make can make them 50% female and 50% male or in some cases something entirely different. Really however there are only two genders but I was just trying to give the various options available. :/ Trying to point out that things are not black and white even though I did it in a really weird way.

What the hell are you talking about. You can't be a percentage of a gender; do they have half a testicle and half an ovarie? You can have only 2 chromosomes: an X and a Y chromosome for the man, and two X chromosomes for the women (or occasionally a non-sex related mutation allowing both X and Y). If they had more, it would make no difference; one because it stores genetic traits such as eye-color and height, two because it doesn't effect the gender- The gender effects it.

there r 2 genders in our fucked up binary gender system, male and female, but there is really more than that. cuz there is "intersex" which is what u r callin "hermaphrodite" but that's not true cuz technically hermaphrodites have both set of genitalia which is really rare in humans. intersex ppl have a combination of genitalia, depending on the type of intersex. 4 example, jamie lee curtis is intersexed, she is female looking but she doesn't have any internal sex organs. another example is this one type of intersex that is common guatemala i think where u r a girl then u turn into a boy at puberty 4real!!
there is also transgendered which is a blanket term for ne1 that doesn't identify as their birth gender, this includes "transvestites" which r just cross dressers that like 2 wear clothes of the opposite gender and transexuals which r "chicks w/dicks" as u ignorant fuckers call it but really it's male 2 female but it can also go the other way female 2 male.

IIn the sirius star system there are supposively 24 different sexes. If I remember right the "Theory" is that for each moon and sun you have, the multiplication of them(or addition, or it might be the multiplication of the moons and suns plus the planet) becomes the amount of sexes!
