I have a few full-album MP3s that I'd like to cut the specific songs up into, cuz it makes it really hard to skip songs I don't feel like listening to. It's like trying to play a casette. And even worse, trying to fast forward on my CD player, I end up hitting the button wrong and it starts the whole god damn thing over again. Does anyone know how to do this?

convert it to a .wav then use the utility at http://www.cdwave.com/

OR you could try MP3DirectCut - I've never used it, but it supposedly can do edits on mp3s without having to recompress them.
