Yeah, this one just didn't get it done. This movie was every complaint people who didn't like his aforementioned movies in one movie.

I actually really enjoyed this movie. It felt like a more mature Ritchie who still wanted to stick to his Lock, Stock formula. The grime from his other movies is more cleaned up, the characters are a bit more... I don't want to say developed (because they're not; besides the fact that you're right, they just sort of happen to happen, they're still Ritchie characters. Development is not a high priority for them :P), but they still feel more real.

And I thought it had a number of good laughs. The scene where the Wild Bunch tries to rob (and then escape from) those two Russians is excellent. All the gay jokes are good too (admittedly, they're still just gay jokes (who'da thunk it?), but still funny).

I loved the commercials for this movie. They gave no hint at all of what kind of movie it was.
