Old Jul 6th, 2005, 12:23 PM        Promoting Wyrd Folk (and more) at Theunbrokencircle.
***This is a repost from my new friend, Mark. He runs this KILLER web-site, and deserves your attention. Note that the only track I've submitted for this project so far is a live jam with my latest band, Apple Snails. More to come soon. Let me know what you think of this one, though. Loads of other rad shit from friends and likeminded folks include The North Sea, Nick Castro, Ink Puddle Compound, The Skaters, Xenis Emputae Travelling Band, Corsican Paintbrush, Uton, Avarus, and more!!!***

Hi all,

just to let the group know the galleries of streaming music at www.theunbrokencircle.co.uk continue to grow rapidly as increasing numbers of artists kindly join us.

This is part of our 'pages in a book only now being written' promotion of new strange folk, experimental acoustic, drone and related musics. We encourage all artists and labels who are interested to take part, it doesn't matter whether you are a signed artist or making music in your bedroom.

We now have nine galleries of music and a useful guide to finding music you may enjoy alongside it. To hear the music go the site and then the 'Experience' section where you will find these sections now.

At the site we have 115 artists taking part now and more being added all the time. Lots of CDrs and emails arrive each day and we're working with some key labels to ensure we can include their artists to make this a key hub for such new music. Some artists have kindly provided more than one track, exclusives and previews to hear. There's no money involved in this, it's just about promoting great music and moving beyond genres, cliques or
bandwagons.

Today we have added music from the MusicYourMindWillLoveYou collective, Current 93, The Big Huge, Long Live Death, The Child Readers, Lucky Luke, A Hawk and a Hackshaw, Kuupuu and more.

All music is either provided or prior approved the artist or the label on their behalf. To confirm we have the following artists up now to hear (listed in A-Z order):
