If the fucking Cardinals don't sign Pujols, I will be forced to listen to "Will Pujols be back next year?" all goddamn season, which means I will have to completely ignore baseball in 2011.

Adam Wainwright is out for the season? And Nick Punto will miss at least 2 months for hernia surgery?

Sorry about this, sspad. For your sake, I hope the second opinion on Wainwright comes back better than the first.

Wainwright will undoubtedly be out for the season due to his future surgery. A lot of people aren't going to know how valuable he truly is to the Card's until about mid season. This is going to be a wide open opportunity for teams in the Central Division, such as the Reds.

If Kyle McClellan can do a star turn this season, we might have a shot. I think the offense will be there. But yeah, Wainwright going down is a great big torpedo in the ass.

That's great, as a Twins fan I welcome more Cabrera in the news.

When asked for further comments about the team’s impressive record, Berowski located a pen and paper and wrote, “Be quiet and please leave.” According to sources, many are blaming Wednesday’s 14-2 loss to the Red Sox on Cleveland resident Paul Eutsey, who recently rose from the chair he had been sitting in for the past month to clean off the dried urine and fecal matter that had caked itself all over his body.
Cleveland fans sure are wacky!

Anyone seen El Blanco?

He'd be giving me shit right about now, as the Phils JV squad got pounded by the Metropolitans this afternoon.

Who will win the AL Cy Young? All kinds of opinions. Weaver pitches in a pitcher's ball park. Sebathia has won too many high-scoring games. Hernandez throws for a weak team. Verlander chokes in tight situations. I still choose Weaver. It'll be an interesting outcome.

The lackluster Twins traded Jim Thome to the Indians for some jobber.

"A player to be named." As a Detroit fan, I still have to admit I'd like to see JT do well with the Tribe in what will likely become his closing season.
