A good captain always takes himself very seriously.
Word up.
Mini-Spidey shows a Stormtrooper the devil horns. Mini-Spidey is metal. \m/
What, no donkey, Shrek?
This was an amazing Chewbacca. Not only was he really tall, but whenever his mouth opened,
it triggered a voice box that played a random Chewie vocal effect.
Dry your eyes kid... it can't rain all the time.
Behold, the Sith Trooper.
People still play The Sims?
A large, bronzed He-Man raises his Power Sword up as he stands near Castle Greyskull.
Buncha mutants...
It's hard to tell from the photo, but the one on the left had some awesome fake facial scars.
Space Ghost gets all the ladies.
Supergirl and Wonder Woman. Given their hair colors, shouldn't they trade costumes?
The animated Stargate booth looked pretty awesome... sadly, you couldn't walk through it.
At $200 a pop, these life-sized Puppet Master reproductions weren't cheap, but damn did I want every one of them.
They were seriously perfect in every way.
Not creepy at all.
This may have been my favorite Joker at the Comic-Con. Not only did he look the part,
but he had the voice and all of his mannerisms down perfectly (licking his lips included).
I wonder if Jabba was worried about the giant anvil that was suspended above him.
Starship Troopers are always interested in getting new recruits. Citizenship guaranteed!
Lego Batman & Robin, I really need to play this game.
Captain America, we salute you!

Awesome pics RoG, really nice work. Glad to see some of the costumes I missed (though I could've done without that one Wonder Woman's ass. She was hovering by the Slave Labor Graphics booth when I was stuck in line, and it wasn't pretty to look). And massive kudos for finding the two really awesome Jokers amidst a sea of them (I think that Nurse one was also the one carrying the pencil around, extra points there). But where's the shot of the giant GIR costume?

too much manboob and too many oddly unnattractive freaks though.
Not like they are ugly people, because I'm sure they'd look fine in their regular clothing,
but the sort of people who shouldnt dress up as something they cant pull off.
and a few of those pictures might earn you a spot on a predator list. =P
SO yeah, agenda is currently: Get a dog, buy a pump, go to Comic-Con '09.
Hey, I think Nick has a nifty idea for you. Ever thought about creating a Pickleman costume for yourself and maul people with a giant pickle at the con?
You have a very difficult life going to these things as a business expense don't you.
I wish I could've gone. Alas, it's a pipe dream.
Look interesting though. Just a little too crowded for my taste.
And as for the other mystery, (http://www.i-mockery.com/minimocks/comic-con08/276.jpg) The one with horns looks like a Yuna Berserker from Final Fantasy X-2, but I've got no idea on the maid.
PS - Rog, you still suck for being able to go and I didn't, but awsome pics, man! Loved looking at them all!
Also, RoG, the chick with the green hair in that one G.I.JOE pic is Zartan's daughter. She's in the comics only. So don't worry, it wasn't a really bad Baroness or anything.
My favorite pic this year is definitely the Stormtrooper and the little kid Spider-Man. That fucking rules.
I really hope I can make it out there for next year's con.
Page 8 "Tarzan" girl is Lum from Urusei Yatsuura.

And thanks for clearing up about Zartan's daughter. I was afraid, myself, that it was a poor Baroness cosplay, and then it was "Wait, Zartan had a daughter?!"
Second on the favorite photo and second on the "hope to be there next year" but unfortunately, I shall have to likely have to continue living vicariously through Rog's photo galleries.
Also, I had a friend tell me about the Yu Gi Oh thing a while ago. I stopped playing a while ago because it just got so stupid. Now, in the show, they play on those duel-runner motorcycle things. THEY PLAY CARDS WHILE RACING ON MOTORCYCLES.
As always the designer toy photos were awesome, I ought to get me some of those.
Secondly, you should have brought a bunch of bananas for Kevin Spacey so he can recreate that scene from K-PAX.
