Synopsis: I personally am a big WWII buff and I try to find games to give me my fix whenever I can. This one does it; you can select either Japan of the U.S. in a huge battle with dozens of scenarios. You can only control the naval forces so the army is left to the computer's A.I. which is surprisingly good for 1995.
Not only does the game rule but it will make you more WWII informed, from it I, learned every damn fighter/bomber/torpedo bomber, every general, all the ships, it's all true. Also with the custom ship option you can design your own ships and subs even making your own dreadnought battleship (take that Japan!) but really I'm surprised no one has reviewed this game yet. Too good to pass up, though.
Gameplay: Beautiful; everything works as it should with no bugs at all (that kinda scares me).
Graphics: a bit blocky, but they do the trick.
Music: Can get repetitive but it's so, so sweet.
Originality: Can you name other successful WWII strategy games for the SNES? Well, can you?
Overall Rating: Perfect, one of my favorite games of all time, find it, play it, LIVE IT!
