Title: Terranigma (2nd Review)
Author:Enix & Quintet
Rom Player: ZSNES
Reviewer: Shane Skekel

Synopsis: Now here's an action RPG that is fun even though it can get so damn hard at times. I would recommend this game over Seiken Densetsu 3 or 4 because it's that great to play even though SD3 is somewhat fun to play, but it lacked the 3-player mode and the ability to mix and match weapons. Enough about that game and let the review commence.
The gameplay: Now this is a step forward from Illusion of Gaia since you can jump and you can actually sell all your old junk whenever possible.
Plus, there's some platforming in this game which breaks up the monotony since I like platformers. However, you still need gems to use magic, but that doesn't hinder gameplay at all. The real problem lies within the puzzles and the item collecting.

Graphics: The graphics are up to par with Chrono Trigger which is good, but they still don't compare to Star Ocean (the original), DKC 1-3, Killer Instinct 1&2, and Yoshi's Story.
Music: This game has some great music to offer even though some tunes can get repetitive at times. The sound effects are very realistic for a Super NES and the only RPG with sound better than this is the SNES Earthbound (Worth the purchase and those who hate that game can bite me!). You have to listen to this game to figure out what I just said.

The story line is rather unoriginal since it is a rehash of Soul Blazer: You have to resurrect the world since it got plastered by monsters. Not to mention some of the characters turn out to be douche bags such as Meilin, Royd, Beruga, and a few
others. However, the story isn't as bland or cheesy as today's RPGs so the overall originality gets a six.

What do I think about this game overall? Buy a copy because a rom is never enough, even if this game is hard to find these days. Therefore, it gets a ten for being a great game even though it can get confusing at times.

Best Cheats: There is a hidden town that contains a lot of gems and some Magirock, but I ain't telling how to get there for that is for you to find out.
