Title: Super Metroid (3rd Review)

Synopsis: This is game is pretty much summed up in about 3 words....PRETTY FUCKIN AWESOME! Actually, I was wrong; words cannot describe how many hours of joy this game brought me after every school day of hell. What could be more fun than playing as a mysterious girl in a kick ass robot suit?
The game was huge and I have nothing against that, but sometimes I got a wee bit bored playing it. I would get lost, and my map wouldn’t help much, but hey, at least I am the envy of all my idiot friends! MUAHAHA! There was a big group of enemies in this chapter of the saga. I also wondered why the MOTHER BRAIN was so aggresive. And how do all of her children/monsters look different?....maybe that question shouldn’t be answered. The beginning of the game is helpful, too. It gives you back-story info on the story, and you fight a boss at the beginning. So that gets you up to date. I am disappointed at the newer Metroid, though. It is in 3D and is a shooter, so it really doesn’t capture the true spirit of the game. Well, I hope you read this before playing any more of the METROID games. Remember the classics.--GoR--
