Title: Road Rash (2nd Review)
Author:Electronic Arts
Rom Player: Gens
Reviewer: Randy Johnson
Synopsis: This was the first Road Rash. I bought it at KB Toys. You race on five tracks on five levels. You must qualify on each race. When you qualify on all five races, you begin a new level. The tracks get longer when you reach new levels. You race on the following tracks: Sierra Nevada, Pacific coast, Redwood forest, Palm desert, and Grass valley. You must race other bikers and you can get a club and hit other bikers and police officers with it. You can also slap them if you don't have a club. If you wreck your bike, you must pay to have it fixed. If you get caught by the police, you are busted and must pay a fine. You must finish each race in 4th place or better to qualify. This is better. On Road Rash 2 and 3 you must finish 3rd place or better to qualify. Unfortunately you get less money on the original Road Rash than you do on the other two. You begin with the Shuriken 400 motorcycle with 60HP and you can buy better bikes as you win money. You can buy the following motorcycles: Panda 600 90HP, Banzai 750 100 HP, Kamikaze 750 105HP, shuriken 1000 135HP, Ferruct 850 110 HP, Panda 750 120HP, and Diablo 1000 150HP. This is a great game. I've been a big fan of Road Rash games since 1993. I give it a 9.
