Title: Donkey Kong Country (2nd Review)
Author:Rare and Nintendo
Rom Player: ZSNES
Reviewer: Randy Johnson

Synopsis: I bought this game on November 30, 1994. I sold my Go-cart to buy it. You control Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. The Donkey Kong in this game previously played as Donkey Kong Junior. Donkey Kong Senior stars as Cranky Kong in Donkey Kong Country.
When you find a DK barrel, bust it to release either Donkey or Diddy Kong. You can play as either Donkey or Diddy. When one Kong takes a hit, he runs from the screen and you begin playing as the other Kong. If he takes a hit, you lose a life.
Bust star barrels so you won't have to redo the entire level if you die. You kill enemies by jumping on top of them, rolling over them or throwing barrels at them. Donkey Kong can also smack enemies. Diddy isn't strong enough to kill one or two of the enemies by jumping on top of them. You must use Donkey Kong to kill them.
You collect bananas. When you collect one hundred bananas, you earn an extra life. Finding Donkey Kong balloons also earns extra lives. There are also a few animal friends that you can ride on.
You must fight several bosses. Two giant beaver bosses, two giant bird bosses, a giant bumble bee boss, etc.
I believe that this was the best of the three Donkey Kong Country games. I give it a nine.
