Synopsis: Hello there rom player/viewer, I am Tim, SO NOT popular rom hacker.
Anyway back to the review...
Elevator Action is a fun game, though it gets boring after the first 3 levels, its INFINITE so don't think you've beat the game after level 5, its about a guy that is apparently a thief, stealing documents(?) and riding to another level in his hot-rod.
Well, the levels are exactly the same, though they get harder and they change palette after every hot-rod drive.
Game Play:
VERY good, everything goes smoothly with the controls, only one thing that makes this game's gameplay deserve a 8: The bullets of the enemies are hard to avoid.
Graphics:
Here’s were it gets sucky... the main character looks like a wimp (which he is because he dies jumping on a elevator that’s 1 CM away from him) and the security guards look like news reporters with a gun, I know they're security guards because you don’t see an entire building with inhabitants holding a gun every day... gets a 4
Music:
I hate this... gets a definite 2... the music is not fun and repetitive, some may like it, but i sure as hell don’t...
Originality:
Very, you don’t usually see games with a elevator sticking out of the roof with some dude swinging to it on a rope not even attached to something but the elevator (Spiderman anyone?)... And especially if that building is full of crazy news reporters holding a gun, gets a 9.
Overall:
I liked it enough to make a hack of it... 7
