Title: Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters
Author:Capcom
Rom Player: M.A.M.E.
Reviewer: Shane Skekel
Synopsis: Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters is the only MM arcade game that got a North American release, but cabinets of this classic are very hard to find nowadays as many arcades are being choked up with today's recycled 2D Fighting games (OK, so Capcom VS SNK 2 was good, but it lacked originality). Plus, they are being snuffed out via cybercafes and such games like Half Life (anyone that considers this one of the greatest games made is a retard), and that pisses me off! To all of you bastards that work at gaming news sites:SHUT THE FUCK UP! Who cares about your dumbassed opinions anyways? Now with that out of the way, I'll show you why this game kicks ass.
Game Play: So what if it's like the first game? At least it doesn't get boring within a few days much like CV: Aria of Sorrow. This game even has Duo from Mega Man 8 and a few new robots to trash.
Graphics: Same as the first game.
Music & Sound: The music is a huge improvement over the first game, as with the sound effects. The real problem comes from the shitty voice acting. It saddens me that they HIRED a girl to do Mega Man and Cut Man's voice also sucks as with most of the robot masters. The only characters that have decent voices are Duo, Bass, and Pharaoh Man.
Originality: Not much in terms of originality.
In the end, this game should be in your arcades and it proves that cybercafes are for meatheads. This game is also included in the Mega Man Collection as well as the first arcade game.
Best Cheats: Nothing Entered
