Title: Metal Slug X

Synopsis: Now its time for me to do another Neo Geo review; this time it's the Contra-Ripoff Metal Slug X. I'm only going to tell you this only once: I AM SICK OF SNK! Now on with the review.
Game Play: It is similar to the aforementioned Contra, Gunstar Heroes, and Xain'D Sleena(Solar Warrior) except with tanks and planes. Like Contra and Gunstar Heroes, two players can get in on the action. There's nothing new in this game to hold my intrests and its difficulty can be hellacious.
Graphics: Well detailed and well animated for a Neo Geo game, but there were 2d games with better graphics than this(i.e. Yoshi's Story). At least it captures the feel of a noxious, violent cartoon that could rival South Park.
Music & Sound: Despite the voice quality, the music and sound is easily forgettable.
Originality: Are you INSANE!? It (like other Neo Geo games) is basically the same as those three pre-Neo games. Because of this(as well as the fact that the Neo Geo and the games for it are OVERPRICED AS HELL), this system never took off as much as the Super NES or the Genesis for that matter.
Overall: You can do worse than Metal Slug X, but you can do better. Then again, this is better than the shit on the PlayStation. If you skip this, you aren't missing too much since you can find better games for a fraction of the cost of an AES homecart.
Best Cheats: There is no cheating in a Neo Geo game. They rely
on skill and lots of it.
