Synopsis: I first got this game in 1993, when I first got my gameboy for Christmas. I did not actually get this game on the holiday as a present, but with the money I recieved for the occasion. But its money well spent.
You are Wario, and must destroy a band of pirates to steal their money so you can build a grand palace for yourself. This is what I liked about this game, because you are a bad guy, even though you are battlin bad guys too (pirates) but oh well, onto the game.
This game you can play over and over because theres so much replay value. You see, there are treasures and the usual coins to collect on the island. At the end, a genie grants your wish for a castle in exchange for the money. WTF? I thought all you had to do was just rub the lamp, and now they charge for their services? Looks like I'll have to save up my moola for a supermodel wife. Just joking, lets get onto it.
Treasures in the game, which are scattered around and are about 30 of them, are worth around in the thousands, depending on which ones (some are harder to find, hence they are worth more) they contribute to your castle fund, because coins alone wont do it, unless you play each level about ten times (like I said, the object of the game is to steal treasure and buy a castle with the loot. The more you have, the better the palace. If you dont collect enough, you could end up with a fucking birdhouse! really!)
Graphics are good, even for gameboy standards. The only thing I liked game gear over the boy is the color, but nintendo always beat it with better games, in which wario 3 is one of their big guns. Gameplay is simmlar to any side scrollers and/or regular super mario games, so gameplay lacks. Music is good too, but lacks in a number of songs.
The game is very original, because there is a ton of treasure to collect as well as a secret level! Sherbet island on the top of the screen. Finally, Super Wario land 3 is a great classic gameboy game, and reflects the best of gaming at its time.
Best Cheats: Im pretty sure there are cheats around but you dont really need em that bad.
