Title: Sonic 3D Blast
Author:Sega

Synopsis: Ok you think im high, I know, but its no joke. This game was freaking 3D, no lie. How the hell they did it on Genesis I have no clue but its right here in my hand. The game was a new take on the genre as you had to save the "chao birds" in every level. These brids would be trapped in various robots that when destroyed would realease the birds, nothing new there. But the game playes insanely well. Its an angle view, like your looking in from the top corner of a cube. the characters move flawlessly, as do the enemies, and all of sonics classic moves are included, as well as a new homing jump attack. Its also noteworthy in that the gameplay is move-based more than combat based. There are more obsticales and puzzles in this title than most other sonic games i know of. Graphics are mind-blowing. Not only is it in 3D, but everything is beautifuly detailed. Colors are great and are done in a fluid artistic style. I would argue this game beats all the current sonic games for gamecube ecept for sonic heros in this respect. Music is pretty run-of-the-mill sonic music but is well done nonetheless. This was top-of-the-line original. It was possibly the first game of its kind.
Although the game is all around good, it does lack a save function, which can get pretty frustrating.

Best Cheats: None I know of.
