Title: Mega Man X (2nd Review)
Author:Capcom
Rom Player: ZSNES
Reviewer: Reggy

Synopsis: Ah, Mega Man X. It was the year 1994 or 1995 when I first played this game on my friend's SNES, and I must say that it started my gaming career.

Now, the plot goes like this (It's not explained in the game itself, but it's in the manual book): In the year 21XX AD, a scientist Dr. Cain finds a new kind of robot from lab ruins and a message from the builder of Mega Man, Dr. Light. He finishes the robot and names him X, who helps him around when building more these robots, Reploids. One of them, named Sigma, goes nuts (Later in the game series, around the 4th game we get to know why) and starts a revolution against humans. Now there's the baddies, called "Mavericks". Now, a reploid named Zero starts his own group to fight against mavericks, and now we have "Maverick Hunters". Our main character, X, doesn't really know what to do, but he joins them.

I personally think that Capcom always makes splendid game music. My own favourite is Chill Penguin's stage music, I can't get enough of that.
The graphics are also rather detailed and pretty, and the sprite animation ain't bad either. The game plot is also quite original. C'mon, are you telling me that you've seen another game with human-like bots fighting against animalbots and a bald-headed creep?

So if you like old SNES games, future and robots, play this game. Now.

Best Cheats: The only cheat I know is the legendary Hadouken (See the picture! :) weapon. Get all the armour pieces (Chest, Boots (You can't miss the boots!), Arms and Helmet), weapons, heart-tanks and sub-tanks, then head to the Armored Armadillo's stage. Get something about 9 lives, and then get going. Remember the funny "sleigh-ride" in the end of the stage? Now go in it, but jump off when it flies in the air. Climb up the wall to the little spot you'd usually find an energy capsule. Now do it again and again until a Dr. Light capsule appears in there and meet the Dr. Light hologram (Dressed up as Ryu from Street Fighter! Oh the HORROR!). He gives you the hadouken upgrade which destroys any enemy with a single blast. (Use it like in SF; Down, Right/Left and Y. X makes a cute noise!) Remember, this doesn't save, so if you want to defeat Sigma with Hadouken, then do it right away. Note: Some people say that you can't get the hadouken if you get hurt on your way to the capsule. That's bullshit. I got hurt a thousand times because of those freaking birds and got it.
