Title: Legend of Zelda, The (6th Review)
Author:Nintendo
Rom Player: Nester
Reviewer: AvikaW

Synopsis: This is NES Adventure game perfection. The controls are easy, but the game is not. The inventory system was the best at the time. The enemies had variety and were plentiful. This NES game is remarkably similar to GTA. If you have an imagination and knowledge about GTA, it would seem like you were on a mission to save your hoe. You were in an endless turf war with Ganon's henchmen. Killing them often left money or items, like in GTA. Your job was to snuff out all 9 bosses and re-assemble the triforce of wisdom. The graphics may seem primitive, but this is an NES game made in 1987, not the Gamecube's RE4 or some Xbox game released today. You couldn't do that much back then. The music is catchy, but it doesn't get a 10 because of lack of variety. Te controls are responsive. The originality is through the roof with its nonlinearity, save ability, birds eye view, inventory system, etc. This game shows why the NES was massively successful and why the very mention of a new Zelda game creates massive hype on the level of Halo 2 or San Andreas. This game shows how you can create a completely original game using a tired out story about saving a princess from a monster. This game made a little boy wearing a Peter Pan outfit seem bad ass and heroic. If one game on the NES is a must buy, this is it. Wether you're trying to find that last heart container, having Ganon hand you your ass after beating it to a pulp, or completing the second quest, Zelda never let's down on the fun. NEVER!!!

Best Cheats: Type in ZELDA as your name to skip the first quest and begin the much harder second quest.
