Title: Advanced Dungeons and Dragons
Author:Tom Loughry
Rom Player: Bliss
Reviewer: Julia

Synopsis: Oh, this game was the terror of my youth. I won't lie, I was too afraid to play this game when it came out. I asked my older sister to finish the higher levels for me.

Really, the original Dungeons and Dragons game was my first taste of fear. Here the basic premise was to work your way through a dungeon under a mountain and defeat a dragon. Dragons were easy (blue dragon) or they were hard as hell (the evil purple dragon that haunted me).

What I remember most was when you entered the dungeon, you only heard the dragon when you were near it. This was fun in the early levels since you could easily avoid the dragon. In the last level - The pant peeing level - you heard the purple dragon as soon as you entered. He proceeded to terrify you until the end of the battle. That's about all there was to it.
