Title: Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, The
Author:Nintendo
Rom Player: ZsnesW
Reviewer: ZeldaDD

Synopsis: Long ago, in the past, there was an evil sorcerer named Gannondorf. He attempted to use the powers of the Triforce of Power to rule the land of Hyrule. He was defeated by the Legendary Hero of Time, and with the help of the ancient sages, sealed Gannondorf into the Golden Realm forever. As he was sealed into this other realm, he vowed he would get revenge on the pre-decessors of the sages and the royal family, but most of all the Hero of Time, Link. Flash to the present, you recieve a mysterious telepathic message, pleading for your help. Something big is happening. Are you ready to step into the shoes of your ancestors and become a hero? Okay, dramatic description of the story aside (can you tell I like the game a lot?), this is a wonderfull game, the first Zelda game to come out for the Super Nes. It is an adventure/RPG with many clever puzzles and interesting dungeons. You will have to use your brains as well as your sword arm (or maybe just the control pad) to fight a host of Gannon's minions. In each dungeon, you will find items to help you solve puzzles in that dungeon and in other places. Be on the look out for secrets, as there are TONS of them (I never did find every one of them). 2 large overworlds, many well-designed dungeons, and secrets. What are you waiting for? Go download it! All in all, classic 16-bit Legend of Zelda goodness.

Best Cheats: There are no cheats, only secret caves and things. One very strange (and very unknown one) is done in Hyrule Castle's courtyard. You must have the Pegasus Boots to do this. Find the bush with the passage that leads into the castle basement. If you get there fast enough, and dash into the hole, you will find a hidden room that was created for the winner of a contest in an issue of the magazine Nintendo Power. There are only coins in there, but kind of interesting anyway.
