Synopsis: Your name is Trevor Belmont, a legendary vampire hunter. As the forefather of Simon, and the origin of the Belmont Vampire Killer Chromosomes, it's up to you to put Dracula back in his place.
This game is not actually famous for it's gameplay, but its entirely long levels. This is all action and no RPG. If you get one of 3 other characters you can play as them by pressing select. Each character has their own power, mentioned in the cheats section. There are still candles to whip, and you can get certian powerups which will make your main weapon stronger. The hearts that come from the candles support the usage of heart weapons, which can be used by holding up and pressing the attack button. My father and I spent hours on end playing this game and listening to its beautiful symphonies. The sound is also an amazing part, with the sound test feature you can listed to whatever you want. The graphics are fairly nice, but I would expect more. This game is worth any price for it's entertainment.
Best Cheats: Special characters:
Sypha - Found after destroying Cyclops. She has a weak staff, but instead of the heart weapons from candles, she gets spell books with extremely high power at a low heart cost. She can use ice, fire, or lightning. Additionally, you can play as a descendant of Sypha in Castlevania for the N64.
Grant - Found after destroying the monster in the clock tower. He has a medium attack dagger and can climb any wall by holding the directional button. He can only use the Dagger, Axe, and Stopwatch heart weapons.
Alucard: Found after fighting him in his cave. He attacks with a magic sphere known as the "Ball of Destruction" He can turn into a bat by pressing down and jump and can only use the Stopwatch.
At the name enter screen enter these names to start as their character.
