Synopsis: The game that everyone can beat, contra will always hold a special place in my heart. In this wonderful side-scroller, you choose from 2 dudes, which my homies and I respectively named Rambo and Arnold. This was for the fact that these guys shared very similar traits to these two action figures, but without allowing any copyright infringement. They were named something stupid like John and Steve. Anywho, the fun part of this game was that it was so damn easy. You just run and jump with a big gun and blast the hell out of aliens and stupid people alike. The music also gets you pumped to kick some alien ass and goes well with the game. The other awesome thing was that some boards had your guys moving forward instead of the regular side action, which was definitely a bonus. Although all this other stuff, the best had to be that everyone knew the friggin' cheat code, which made it so damn easy to crush the game. I remember playing with my friends for an hour trying to see how many times we could beat it. This game is definitely number one in my book.
