Title: Altered Beast
Author:Sega
Rom Player: Genecyst
Reviewer: Rad Rawkus

Synopsis: Okay, I know everyone remembers this game. This is because it kicks ass. It had basic controls for the era, with cool attacks after you power up. You start of as a guy that gets resurrected & kill zombies & wolves until you find certain white wolves to get power ups. You get bigger and after a couple you turn into a wolf man & kill everything.
Each level you are a different monster when you change, the 2nd level is a dragon thing and there are a couple of others along with a gold wolf you get later on. It has been a long time since I have played this game, so I am a little sketchy on the details. I do, however, remember playing through with my friends and loving this game along with Ninja Gaiden and Golden Axe to name a few others. I need to buy my own damn arcade machine so I can play these games as they were originally intended. I was shocked that there was not a review for this classic game already. I may not be the most qualified, but someone had to do it!

Best Cheats: Options Screen - Hold down B and press start at the title to bring up the option screen that will let you change the size of your life bar, your number of lives, and even which stage you begin on.
