Title: Bad Dudes (2nd Review)

Synopsis: After beating Data East's Rampage and seeing how awful the game was, I vowed to never play another Data East creation again.
But now I just got finished reading Dr. Boogie's review for this game. He seemed to enjoy the game a little, so I decided to give Data East one more chance. I then downloaded it from I-Mockery.
I'm very glad I did.
You see I've always been a big fan of the fighting genre. I've played all the big ones. Double Dragon,
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, even Battletoads. But I have to say I've never played one as fun as this.

You play as two dudes. One named Blade, the other named Striker. Your mission: to save the President.
Because this game was made in 1989, my guess is that your saving Ronald Regan. Among many great accomplishments, he also worked to stop global terrorism. And that must've ticked a gang of ninjas off. So they then proceed to capture the pres and of course you have to rescue him.
Game Play:10
Both Blade & Striker control the exact same. The only way to tell who's who is their outline. Blade has a red outline while Striker has a light yellow one. The moves in the game are easy to pull off. Press B once to throw a punch. Press it a whole bunch of times and they throw straight left right punches and some times kick. And if you press A and B at the same time, you can do a truly devastating move; the SPINING AIR KICK. It kinda reminds me of Ryu or Ken Masters Hurricane Kick.

The music is so stinkin' great! It fits right in with the game perfectly. But the sound effects are a different story. When you get chopped or kicked by a ninja, it makes this odd 'blup' noise. I'm not even going to talk about the downright EVIL roar that he emits when I defeat a boss. He HAS to be under demonic control.
Whether you download this game, or buy it, I don't care. Just get it!!
Best Cheats: 63 Extra Lives
When you are at the title screen, press and hold:
B, A, Down, Up, Down, Up simultaneously on the 2nd controller. Press Start on Controller #1 (while still holding all those buttons) to gain 63 extra lives.
