Title: Tick, The
Author:Fox Interactive
Rom Player: ZSNES
Reviewer: Bad Mr. Frosty

Synopsis: Despite the horrible gameplay of this game, it's actually a pretty good game, but only the first time through. Nobody in their right mind would wanna try to beat it again.

Game Play:7
Tick can punch, kick, jump & kick, and a few other things. Problem is, he's a little slow, and since you're fighting ninjas, you need to be fast.

Graphics:9
This is this games best part! The graphics look just like The Tick comic books! The Tick & the Ninjas both move very lifelike. And unlike some fighting games, when more than one enemy pops up on the screen the framerate drops to very slow frames per second, it never happens in this game. There could be up to 6 ninjas fighting you and every thing still moves smoothly.

Music:7
I really don't like the music. It sounds like old black & white gangster movie music.

Originality:9
Although the gameplay & music may not be the best of the best, the story is awesome... if you appreciated the Tick cartoons. The game contains cameo appearances by many of the characters from the show. Human Bullet, Paul the Samurai, & The Caped Wonder just to name a few. Although I have to admit that the story isn't very straight forward or nothing but it is still funny when they do show a little bit of the events.

Overall:7
This game is made only for 2 types of people. People that like Tick and watch the cartoon, or read the comics. And people who love to beat up Ninjas.

Best Cheats: Stage Select:
To open up the stage select set everything in the option screen to the following:
Lives-7
Continues-4
Arthurs-2
Test sound-Teleport
Now when you are playing the game press start, then select to bring up the stage select.
