Synopsis: I use to want this game as a kid years ago, but it was one of those hard-to-find games in my state. But not to long ago, my dad told me it was on
e-toys.com for only 12 bucks brand new. So I bought it.
I am very glad I did.
Story:10+
The story for this game is super funny. Ren is outside of their spaceship in outer space cooking hot dogs for their meal, while Stimpy is inside playing with the controls. After Ren gets done roasting the food, he asks Stimpy to open the hatch, and let him in. Stimpy then looks down at the controls and sees two options. Open Hatch, & Cut Lifeline. He chooses the second option which then cuts Ren's Lifeline and sends him flying into space. But, if you can get to the end of the spaceship fast enough, you can save Ren. Funny thing is, after you save Ren, Stimpy then gets lost. And you have to save him playing as Ren. This is how the whole game goes.
Game Play:6
The game's low point. Both Ren & Stimpy jump way too slow. And you can't jump on enemy’s heads Mario style; you have to either hack up a hairball if you're Stimpy, or slap the enemy if you're Ren. Sense Stimpy's attack is like a projectile, he is a little easier to be than Ren.
Graphics:9
Ren, Stimpy, and all of the backgrounds look amazing. The detail looks so good, you feel like you're watching the show. I couldn’t believe this came out in 1992.
Music:8
The music is great. Although Ren's first level could get a little bothersome. My favorite song is the Flusher of Worlds theme.
Originality:8
I know it's another side scroller, but I love it. Once I start playing, I can't stop until I beat it.
One thing I would change is at least give the game a password feature. You have to beat it in one sitting. I've done it only once, and the ending is fantastic.

One really fun handheld game. I highly recommend buying it and not downloading it. Don't get mad if you aren't good at playing it at first, It takes a lot of practice. So many people won't even try it because T*HQ made it. I know they've made ALOT of mistakes in the past, some of which I will cover in the future, but this is not one of them.
