Title: Startropics 2 - Zoda's Revenge
Author:Nintendo
Rom Player: NESticle
Reviewer: OxfordSparky
Synopsis: I remember back to Christmas from... oh, it must have been 4th or 5th grade. That was the first year I found my parents Xmas presents under their bed (some hiding spot, huh?). In their little cranny of holiday cheer were two boxes; one containing Donkey Kong for the game boy (another great game in its own right) and Zoda's Revenge for the NES. Anyhow, if this game just had some updated graphics and sound, it could have easily been for the SNES. You run, jump, and throw sharp and pointy things at various monsters through Zelda-like mazes. One cool theme that makes up most of the story is time travel, as you start in the stone age and traverse through other sections of history, such as the western US gold rush or ancient Egypt. Another aspect of the game that sets this apart from the rest of the NES software is the story. It's nothing mind-blowing by today's standards, but as far as NES games go, Zoda's Revenge had a pretty good script. In summation, if you find this baby, buy it. Keep in mind it had the old crappy NES battery save so it probably won't keep track of your progress, but you wouldn't mind keeping the old Nintendo on for about 14 straight hours, would ya? Also, if you make it to the monkey maze, just save yourself the grief and go get a FAQ online.
Best Cheats: Game genie - PAULAAAA. I remember that one... far jumps.
