Synopsis: Okay, I'll admit that I'm no football fan, but I don't think football is supposed to be like this.
Nintendo created this 'game' in 1985. If I'm correct this is the first football game for the NES. I guess one of the employees at Nintendo was a football fanatic and wanted to have a football game. So he kept pestering his fellow employees to talk to the big cheese and convince him to make a football game. My guess is that he finally got through to the guy while he was smoking a seven-foot bong.

Somebody must've been really high to think you could play a terrible game like this. The CPU controlled team is very agile, but you're team is more slower than a 5 second old kitten. You will find yourself struggling to move left or right to avoid being tackled. I've only made it all the way to the other side 1 time. And that took a lot of effort. It’s like the CPU: Amazingly sluggish controlling.

Poor. Very Poor. The ground where your playing at looks okay, but the players look like blue & red blobs. I don't think I have an eye problem either. A monkey on speed could create better graphics.

Their really is no music in this game. The only sound effect I've heard is the cheering crowd. The cheers actually sound kinda lifelike.

This may have been a awful start for football games, but it was a start. Because it has spawned tons of really great football games for the PSX, Nintendo 64, and Dreamcast. And many more to come no doubt.

I suggest at least trying this game. If you dislike it then just keep it in your NES library. Some people may get lucky & beat the whole game
Best Cheats: Couldn't find any. I don't think games from 1985 had cheats or codes. Either that or the idiot who made this game was too stupid to make cheats.
