Title: Tetris
Author:Nintendo
Rom Player: NESticle
Reviewer: Caignozzio

Synopsis: You arrange falling blocks so that they for a solid line and as you progress the blocks fall faster. Very, simple premise, but this game is great, everything about it is perfect. 1) The rules are simple: don't let the blocks touch the top of the screen. 2) The difficult increases at a steady pace, to sudden jumps 3) More addictive than heroine.
There are two types of place. In the first you stack the blocks to make lines, which then disappear, while not allowing any to touch the top of the screen. The second starts you off with a partially filled screen and you try to make 25 lines. You also had three choices of music, all of which are impressive for a game nearly 16 years old.
But the best thing about the game was that it was created by a man in the USSR (remember the Cold War?) and the tagline on the cover of the box was "FROM RUSSIA WITH FUN."
All of the sequels, be they on SNES or PSX, cannot compare to the first one because all you need for the game is to show blocks and have them fall into a line. All the other versions try to put new graphics in it or new game play. But NES Tetris is the original and there's no improving on perfection.

Best Cheats: Not really a cheat, but if you hold down "A" when you pick your difficulty, you'll increase the chosen level by 10.
