Title: Aliens versus Predator
Author:Activision
Rom Player: ZSNES
Reviewer: Chance Johnson

Synopsis: Aliens. Predators. A human space outpost. You do the math. Green and acidic blood will fly in this SNES game... That really never should have been.
Overall, it's not a bad game. A Predator is on its way to hunt humans on a new human space outpost. When it gets there, it finds all the humans dead and everyone’s favorite alien species, the xenomorphs, all over the place. Sensing a challenge, the Predator decides it's going to go on a bug hunt instead of a human hunt. Go figure.
It's a beat-'em-up. You play a Predator fighting its way through the outpost on its way to do mortal combat with the Queen.
Apparently, both species have mutated for the worse since the events of Predator II and Aliens. The Predator is slow and lacks any kind of physical power. The Aliens are slow and dumb as bricks. And the controls... I almost threw my joypad through my monitor. But then again, controls have always been strange with this kind of game.
Graphically, the game isn't bad for the SNES. I've seen better and I've seen worse. Nothing to write home about.
Sound fares a little worse. The sound just doesn't go with the game very well. In fact I would go so far as to call it pretty bad.
In the end, the only reason you'd want to play this game is if you're really into the Predator movies or Alien movies and are looking for something new. Don't play this one even then unless you are absolutely sure your love for the movies is unshakeable, because this game left even me doubting whether I could watch the movies the same way ever again.
