Title: NFL Prime Time
Author:Sega Sports
Rom Player: Gens
Reviewer: Dennis
Synopsis: This one was made in the final days of the Sega Genesis. This title brought quite a few new features to the table such as the ability to create your own players and use them in a game, as well as move teams and adjust rosters through trades and free agent signings. Being as how this is Deion Sanders' game Deion stars as the ultimate free agent. You could also play as multiple teams throughout the course of the season and could play up to three seasons. It was one of the first to include all the teams and players.
Sound was nothing too impressive. A boring song played when you were on the pause screen. Your players could trash talk the other team before and after a play.
Graphics were fair but could have been done a little better. They were about the same as other Sega Sports football titles of the time.
Game play was the real selling point here. The plays were easy to choose. Receiving was done by running you're receiver to a spot marked with an "X" in a circle by pressing a specific button and you didn't need the little windows anymore. The controls to this one were simplicity in itself and were pretty easy to pick up on. This was a pretty much decent football game and not a bad addition to your Sega Genesis library.
