Synopsis: This game is just what it sounds like: Triple Action - 3 games in one. Considering when this came out that's pretty cool because there were plenty of games on Intellivision that didn't compare to even 1 of the games on Triple Action. The three games are Battle Tanks, Racing Cars, and Biplanes... all of which are 2 player head to head action.
Out of the 3 games, Biplanes is absolutely the best. You go head to head with a friend and you can gun them down as well as get extra points by gunning down some poor bastard in a hot air balloon here 'n there. What's most fun is if you go really high up you can do these huge dive bombs on your opponent and try to keep him/her from ever taking off again. Next best would be the battle tanks game. You just drive around a board in some tanks and shoot at each other. But you can set the bullets to bounce off the walls, so it can be a lot of fun trying to get them to ricochet off a wall and hitting your enemy. Finally there's the car racing game. It's ok at best, you just drive as fast as you can without hitting any other cars. Whoever gets a hundred miles first wins.
All in all, Triple Action is a real good cartridge because it has more to offer than most Intellivision games do, and it's great if you're looking for some good 2 player games.
